Sfakia Imbros

Sfakia is considered to be the most authentic region of Crete, located in the southern part of the prefecture of Chaniain an area dominated by mountainous element within 71 Km from the capital of the country with beautiful and spectacular route. Chora Sfakia borders by the Libyan Sea and the beautiful picturesque harbour with its small beach and shops catering around, gives it a distinctive charm. With the sun shining all year round, Sfakia is the sunniest area and along the southernmost part of Europe. The fact that there are no industries, make the sea one of the cleanest you can find. The food is very good with many traditional dishes and of course fresh fish and many local dishes.
