Omalos, Samaria Gorge, Seliniotikos Gyros

The tour starts from Chania center. We drive 38km south way between the villages of Agia, Alikianos, Fournes just beside the Botanical Park and Lakoi (1 hour). Omalos is situated at the northeastern corner of the Omalos Plateau in the White Mountains (Lefka Ori). Omalos elevation is 1041m (3,415ft). The plateau has an area of 15 km2 and lies on the intersection of three districts, namely the Mousouroi unit of Platanias, Sfakia and East Selino.

We stop at the famous Samaria Gorge for 45 minutes to walk around and a drink over the entrance of the gorge. Samaria Gorge is Europe largest gorge which is 18km long with wonderful nature beauty. Coming back we turn in Seliniotikos Gyros. The environment is very beautiful and very impressive. We stop for a few minutes for photographs and we return back the same way.

Option 1: We go for traditional meal (1,5 hour). We will have our meal in Meskla Village (Taverna Halaris) or in Alikanos Village (Pemptousia Restaurant). Tour is 5 hour and 100 km about.

Option 2: Returning back the way to Chania, we stop of beautiful lake of Agia for a drink and a little walk.(20-30 minutes). The lake of Agia is 15 minutes from Chania. This tour is 4 hour and 100 km

Option 3: We stop in the Botanical Park. At the Botanical Park you can stay as much as you want. There you can have a walk, drink or meal. We can take you back any time you want. This tour is 100km 4 hours + time in the Botanical Park

Option 4*: Coming back from Omalos we stop in the Manousakis Winery. At the Manousakis Winery you can stay as much as you want. We can take you back any time you want. This tour is 100km and 4 hours + time in the Manousakis Winery
