The tour starts from Chania center. We need 80 minutes about to go there. Elafonissi which is a small island and a peninsula, is situated on the south west side of Crete and is about 80km from the city of Chania. This beach is located just a short drive of 20km from the city center of Chania. Its was not very popular until recently when the new road was constructed. Seitan Limani beach is a small cove in an isolated area so it is vital to take your own food and refreshments with you.

Taking the ferry boat from Chora Sfakia to Loutro is a trip well worth doing. Loutro is a peacful little village in the heart of a natural cove.There are no cars or trucks to disturb you while you savor the food and drink in the many small taverns along the shore line. Loutro is a stunning place to visit.

The Battle of Crete was one of the biggest and most important episodes of World War II and this was the first attempted invasion by parachute which cost the lives of thousands of German parachutists.
